New York City Food Assistance

The holidays are about spending time with family and friends, enjoying food together.

If you’re looking for ways to get healthy food to cook for the holidays, check out these resources:

 

  • New York Common Pantry

 

      • Location: East Harlem, 8 East 109th St.
      • The Choice Pantry and Hot Meals are served at various times, Monday – Friday, between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM
      • Click here to learn about programs they offer and to sign up  
      • Register in person Monday – Saturday, 9:00 AM -6:00 PM, 2:00-6:00 PM on Sundays and holidays
        • When you go to register, bring a photo ID for all adults and children in the home, rent receipt or lease, and proof of income or benefits

 

  • Part of the Solution

 

      • Location: Fordham Manor (Bronx), 2759 Webster Ave.
      • Food Pantry is available Monday – Saturday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and Sunday, 3:30 – 5:30 PM
      • Click here then click where it says “Get Help” to learn how to sign up for programs
      • Register Monday – Friday 9:00 – 11:55 AM
        • When you go to register, bring a proof of address and photo IDs or birth certificates for all adults and children in the home

 

  • Gobble Gobble Give

 

      • Location: Harlem, Church of the Intercession, 550 West 155th St.
      • Free hot meals distributed on Thanksgiving day
