The temperature may be low outside, but that doesn’t mean you need to stop exercising! Don’t let the cold winter get in the way of you reaching your fitness goals. Here are some ways you can work up a sweat without braving the cold:
- Work out at home. You can do simple exercises like jumping jacks, planks, pushups, and squats in your living room. You can also follow along to a Youtube fitness video, like the ones in this article and this article.
- Join a NYC Parks Recreation Center. It’s free, and this article will show you how to sign up!
- Find a friend to be your workout buddy. You can work out together or simply text each other so you are both being held accountable.
You don’t have to wait until it’s warm outside to live an active life!
